You can actually take a tour of the inside...and I definitely plan on doing that!!!

I got to sleep in this morning and then we hopped on the "coach" (the driver gets mad if you call it a bus!) Our tour guide Angie, who was very similar to our tour guide Vicki in New York if any of  you remember her :) kind of Mary Poppins-esque :)Anyway, she took us to Buckingham Palace to see the Changing of the Guards which was very cool because she knew exactly where to stand and go to see them do their actual change. The guards wear bear-skinned hats with different colored feathers in them according to what regiment they're from. There are only 5 regiments allowed to be a part of the Queen's guard. They are the Grenadier guards, Coldstream guards, Irish, Welsh, and Scot guards. She also took us to Westminster Abbey, the future location of "The Wedding." A few hours later, we went on a walking tour of the Kensington Burrough with a man named Duncan Duff who is a "blue badge" guide, which means he studied for about 3 years to become certified as a guide. I later on googled him to get a picture for my facebook album and found out that he is a rather famous actor in England. I stopped up on High Street Kensington to get a "mobile" and then went to an Italian restaurant with some friends and had a glass of wine and some very tasty ravioli in an alfredo/parmesean sauce. YUM :) Tomorrow we leave around 11am for a tour of the Tower of London where the crowned jewels are kept! I'm pretty excited for that!
I hope that everyone's doing well.
Much love,
Alex
